RecordPad by NCH is simple audio recording software for Linux, Windows, Mac and handheld devices. It can be integrated with NCH WavePad sound editor and is perfect to quickly and easily record audio notes, messages, audio or announcements in three different audio formats.
As said, the program is really simple, almost as Windows own recorder, with the difference in recording options, quality and design. The recordings can be set to be output in MP3, WAV or AIFF. Additionally, it has a voice activated recording system, plus hot key configuration to allow customized keyboard control over the recordings while working in other applications.
In this version users will find a redesigned and upgraded user interface. Also now the program is available for Windows mobile, iPhone and iPod Touch. Additionally, there is now an option included to automatically send recordings via email or be uploaded to an FTP server.
Note that the handheld version does not support saving in mp3 file format.
